Cully Farmers Market hosts a youth pop-up lending library during every market. Volunteers may sign up to read to children and help kids check out books. If you would like to donate books to the library, please bring them to the market information booth on market day. The pop-up library was created as part of the Central Northeast Childhood Reading Initiative, a collective impact campaign formed between Our 42nd Avenue, Rigler School, and Multnomah County Library. The program engages community members from diverse backgrounds as reading coaches for our community’s children, emphasizing the importance of neighborhood relationship building.
